Lou Waters
5am - 10am

Jamie Larson
5am - 10am

Jamie Larson is the morning co-host on KDAT. Jamie was well on her way to a degree in Design when she was bitten by the radio bug in college. Her first shift was the thriving overnight hours of midnight to 2am Tuesday mornings... a shift where she was elated to get one request, let alone two calls in one show. She did finish her degree in Design at Wartburg College, but behind the mic is where she comes alive. She has worked in Mason City and Waterloo in Iowa. She was named Best New Talent in 2005 while working in Milwaukee, WI. Jamie grew up in the Quad Cities and after moving around, she is proud to be back in Eastern Iowa on KDAT.

Rick Marshall
10am - 2pm

Rick is the Operations Manager of KDAT, KHAK, KRNA & KRQN in Cedar Rapids and KOEL AM & FM, KCRR, and KKHQ in Waterloo.  He's also regional operations manager for our stations in Dubuque and Quad Cites, IA; Topeka, KS; Jefferson City, MO; Grand Junction, CO; Sioux Falls, SD; Rochester, MN and Bismarck, ND.  Rick is also our KDAT Program Director and has been working in radio for longer than he'd like to admit. He began his broadcast career at the age of 17, writing comedy material for the morning show at WRKO, Boston. It was then off to the University of Massachusetts, where Rick managed the student-run station WMUA, while getting a degree in Mass Communications.

After college, Rick spent six years working for ABC Radio at their locally owned stations in San Francisco and Chicago. In 1980, Rick joined Frank N. Magid Associates, a world-wide media research and consulting firm located here in Cedar Rapids. He rose to the rank of Vice President of Radio Consultation before branching off to form his own company in 1989.

Over the years, Rick has designed radio station formats in markets like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Hartford... and, of course, Cedar Rapids, where he designed KDAT.

Rick lives on the Northeast side of town, along with his wife Diane and daughters Jennifer and Rachael.
